Aldi’s huge 135-job recruitment drive in Essex with salaries up to £43k
More than 130 jobs are on offer at Aldi for people in Essex – as the budget store chain brings in its new higher wages from this week. The supermarket chain has multiple stores in the county and is looking for 135 new people to join their teams.
The roles available include full time and part time positions across the county. The recruitment push comes as Aldi increases hourly pay rates for all its store colleagues across the UK.
It will see the hourly rate of Store Assistants nationally rise from £12.00 to £12.40, and from £13.55 to £13.65 for those within the M25. This marks the second pay increase for Aldi store colleagues this yeae, with the chain saying it has invested £79million in pay.

Jobs on offer range from stock assistants at £12 an hour, store assistants at £12.95, with a store management apprentice earningbetween £8.44 and £11.83 an hour. Deputy managers can earn up to £14.20 an hour, with the highest paid job on offer is an assistant store manager role in the mid-Essex area which carries an annual salary of £35,625 – £43,440.
