Alogic Announces A Slew Of New Displays At InfoComm Las Vegas

Australian computing brand Alogic has today announced a slew of new computer displays that it is launching this week at InfoComm, held in Las Vegas from June 12.

First up is a brand-new Clarity 27-inch UHD 5K monitor with touchscreen capabilities and premium color accuracy, making it ideal for graphic design work and digital photo editing. The 5K resolution works perfectly with Apple macOS, which uses 5K as its native resolution.

The new Clarity display has a pivot, tilt and swivel stand while the display is edge-to-edge and supports HDR. The touchscreen function is stylus compatible and 10-point multi-touch.

The next two Alogic products appearing at InfoComm are the Edge 34″ & Edge 40″ Ultrawide QHD monitors. Available in 34- and 40-inch sizes, both monitors offer a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 Ultrawide QHD.

Designed for boutique business and home office set-ups, the two new screens have a bold aesthetic and are made with 80% recycled aluminum, a glass back and measure just 8mm thick. Alogic claims these unique displays are ideal for design agencies and interior decorators.

Another screen from Alogic is aimed especially at interior designers. The Alogic Horizon 34″ Ultrawide QHD Touchscreen also features 3,440 x 1,440 resolution but has a 10-point multi-touch screen that works with pressure-sensitive styluses. Horizon has 165Hz refresh rate and a swift 1ms response time.

Horizon is VESA certified 400 HDR with 4,096 level of pen pressure sensitivity. The display has a foldable stand for drawing and features a magnetic nook for stowing away a stylus, making it a useful for creative professionals like artists and illustrators.

With its 21:9 aspect ratio, the Horizon display has a similar glossy finish as Alogic’s Clarity range. In addition, Horizon is made of all aluminium and glass like the Alogic Edge. The display is compatible with Alogic’s Clarity touch software and can provide a MacBook or Mac mini with a huge 34”touch screen. It’s also AMD freesync compatible.

For the portable display market, Alogic is also releasing the Xtend 15.6″ & Xpand 17″ portable 4k touchscreen displays at InfoComm.

These two new portable 4K monitors look a little like large iPads and they are supplied with a protective cover to safeguard the screen when it is being transported. The cover folds out to form a stand.

The screens also include a separate folding stand that magnetically attaches to the back of the displays and provides greater stability for illustrators using the touchscreen function.

Both displays support pressure-sensitive stylus input and multi-touch. They are powered directly from a laptop’s USB-C port. The screens are designed for artists, traveling workers or anyone who needs a dual-monitor setup on the go.

Also appearing at InfoComm is the Slate 28″ Double Vertical QHD monitor. This 16:18 ratio screen has two stacked QHD 2,560 x 1,440 resolution displays vertically giving it a tall appearance.

The Slate is ideal for vertical applications like word processing, coding, and web browsing. Alogic also says it would make an ideal second screen for home office use thanks to its sleek and space-saving design. The Slate also offers 90W Power Delivery and includes a retractable webcam.

The last product being showcased at InfoComm by Alogic is the UNITE Wireless Presentation System. This system enables multiple users to share their screens wirelessly in meeting rooms or classrooms.

With support for 4K, touchscreen and up to 16 users, the system includes a dock and USB-C button for seamless connectivity with Mac, Windows, Chromebook, iOS, and Android devices.
