Amazon’s offer will tempt you to ditch your Fire TV Stick, Echo and Kindle
Owners of devices like Fire TV Sticks, Echo speakers and Kindle e-Readers might want to think about upgrading this month. Amazon has recently announced another Amazon Prime Day sale, and it’s almost guaranteed that its own-brand devices will see significant price reductions.
Past Prime Day events have seen prices drop to record lows, and we fully expect 2024 to offer similar savings.
Bargains could include huge discounts on the top-tier Fire TV Stick 4K Max, as well as lower prices on the Kindle Scribe (which comes with a stylus for screen writing) and popular Echo speakers such as the Dot and Spot.
The sale will start on July 14 and run for a full 48 hours.
To access these deals, you’ll need a Prime account, which typically costs £8.99 per month. However, there’s a handy trick to get this plan for free.
If you haven’t been a Prime member for some time, you can sign up now and get a full 30 days for free. Once Prime Day is over, you can simply cancel the plan, meaning you won’t have to pay anything to access the offers.

In addition to Amazon’s own devices, the online retailer has also confirmed that other products from manufacturers such as Bose, Fitbit, Oral-B and Sony will also be reduced in price. It’s also highly likely that smartphones, TVs, headphones and speakers will all see discounts.
“The countdown to the 10th Prime Day in the UK starts now, and we have a huge selection of deals to come,” announced John Boumphrey, Amazon’s UK Country Manager. “We work really hard to deliver great products at the best prices for customers during Prime Day and throughout the year, from the biggest brands to the 100,000 small British businesses that sell on Amazon. With even faster deliveries and so many shopping, saving and entertainment benefits available, there has never been a better time to be a Prime member. Roll on Prime Day! “.
Also, remember signing up for Prime means you’ll benefit from quicker delivery times, complimentary photo storage, and access to Prime Video and Music streaming services.
And a heads-up for those with an Amazon device that’s seen better days or just conked out hold off on replacing it right now, as some top-notch deals are expected to drop very soon.
