Baricata, founded in 2023 by its now CEO Kensei Shiraishi, is an online casino games provider with a difference. The Malta-based firm offers streaming-style games which are a combination of social media services and live casino. 

In June this year, Baricata successfully introduced its first original live casino dealer, powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

As opposed to a typical dealer, an animated character operates live games without depending on any human intervention, giving users the opportunity to play casino games as well as interact with the AI-chat technology. 

This AI-powered casino dealer reduces the need for human involvement, making it easier to stream live casino games around the clock.

Baricata has also launched a service whereby casino operators can design their own original AI  anime characters and exclusive Baricata-branded live tables. Every dealer character will have the capacity to speak multiple languages and communicate fluently with users, as well as possess VIP player detection capabilities to create unique customer experiences.

With this successful initiative, Baricata collaborated with Casimaru.com, a popular Japanese igaming media outlet, to increase visibility and awareness of its offering.

Through the partnership, the first AI-powered casino dealer was created to be a dedicated brand ambassador of Casimaru. This branded character has already caught much attention from consumers and is helping promote Baricata’s product and increase its market presence. 

With the market growth of igaming and the popularity of the anime-themed content, Baricata is expecting its animated casino dealers to be in great demand.

Shiraishi has confirmed that the games provider is working on several ongoing projects to deliver more AI casino dealers for igaming operators.

He also noted that the attention to Baricata’s product is not a coincidence but an expected outcome based on the context of the nature of internet users. 

Shiraishi said: “The internet is as vast as the sea. We have seen a number of partners that are struggling with branding of the services and products. Here, we exist to give personalities to our igaming operators through our AI casino dealers; they will be ‘the unique colours’ for you.

Of course, the CEO concedes that it’s a very competitive and flooded market out there, with many core factors composing products now becoming increasingly standardised.

He believes we are about to see the new wave of AI technology, one which would make an impact not only in a mechanical way but also in an emotional way, where the AI tells a story. 

With this shift in sight, Baricata may just have the answer.
