An Garda Síochána are advertising a number of civilian roles, located across Ireland.
The force is seeking determined individuals for the role of Incident Creation Representative at the Garda Information Services Centre (GISC) in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
As an Incident Creation Representative, you will play an important role in supporting operational members of An Garda Síochána through recording of incident details and updating on our Pulse system.
Main responsibilities will include providing 24/7/365 telephone support, the ability to accurately record and update incident reports and to ensure high quality data entry.
Requirements include a minimum education of Leaving Certificate with at least Grade D in five subjects, Level 5 Certificate, or equivalent.

The Garda Commissioner is also seeking a “suitably qualified person” for the role of Executive Director, Finance and Services, with a starting salery of almost €160,000.
The Executive Director Finance and Services, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, will play a key strategic leadership role in the implementation of the broader organisational change programme and will be directly responsible for driving a new programme of transformation of the finance function in the organisation.
The Executive Director will report to the Chief Corporate Officer.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a senior leadership role in a large, complex organisation with responsibility for large-scale financial management, and financial governance, senior management experience with transformation leadership and complex strategic reform of a finance function in a large, complex organisation; and a proven ability to provide effective leadership at Management Board level.
An appreciation of the requirements of government accounting and an ability to quickly gain a detailed knowledge of Government accounting practices, EU directives and national procurement rules is also preferable.
