“He’s on fire!” One of the most popular video games from the ’90s can now be experienced in its purest form at home, thanks to Arcade1Up.

Available for pre-order for $499.99, the Arcade1Up NBA Jam Deluxe arcade cabinet is a replica of the classic video game, but with a modern twist — with built-in WiFi for online multiplayer and global leaderboards. It drops on Thursday, Aug. 8 on Amazon.

The arcade cabinet stands at just over five feet tall, comes with a 17-inch color monitor for impressive colors and graphics, and boasts dual speakers for dynamic and rich audio. It’s also designed with a light-up marquee and 3D faux-molded coin doors.

It comes with three games inside: “NBA Jam,” “NBA Jam: Tournament Edition” and “NBA Hangtime.”

Arcade1Up NBA Jam Deluxe

Releases on Aug. 8

With its sleek and slim cabinet design and two-player control panel, Arcade1Up NBA Jam Deluxe is ideal for a game room, home office or basement “man-cave.” It even has replica artwork that makes the machine look and feel as authentic to the original from the ’90s.

Originally released in 1993, “NBA Jam” from Midway was an arcade sensation with 27 teams and superstar duos for each, such as Mark Price and Brad Daugherty from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Patrick Ewing and Charles Oakley from the New York Knicks, Hakeem Olajuwon and Kenny Smith from the Houston Rockets, Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant from the Chicago Bulls, and others. It later moved to home consoles, including Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and Sony PlayStation.

Amazon

Priced at $499.99, the Arcade1Up NBA Jam Deluxe arcade cabinet is ready for pre-order with release on Aug. 8 at Amazon. Although Amazon has the two-player version, Walmart has the four-player model of Arcade1Up’s NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, which goes for $499.
