Arthur Gourounlian gives ‘exciting’ life update after baby ‘bubble burst’

ARTHUR Gourounlian has said he’s “so excited” as he prepares for a special visitor after being in a “baby bubble”.

The Dancing With The Stars judge and his hubby Brian Dowling welcomed their second child into the world last month on Sunday, June 23.

Brian’s sister Aoife stepped in to act as a surrogate for the pair for a second time after they welcomed daughter Blake in September 2022.

She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that Arthur and Brian named Blu Amar Rose Dowling.

Arthur took to Instagram today to update his fans on how he’s been getting on at home with his one-week old.

The 44-year-old said: “Our one week bubble has burst. Last week we were literally at home doing nothing and starring at Blu.”

The celebrity choreographer explained how well Blake has adapted to being a big sister already.

He said: “Blake was so, so intrigued by her. I think the first time when Blake met Blu, she was like, ‘Is that thing staying here?”. She didn’t know what was going on.

“But after a week, she’s like, ‘Come, come’. She sits with her on the sofa bringing Blu and she’s actually cuddling and giving little kisses. She’s so gentle with her sister.

“We are so, so happy with it. So far, so good. Let’s not jinx it. So it’s been incredible!”

Arthur is now on a “mission” to get everything ready before his mum Maria, also known as Tati, arrives.

He said: “I am so excited and so looking forward to it because now the countdown is only 17 days… my mum is coming to stay with us for two months.

“I’ve been getting a couple of things, I just got an island to put in the kitchen so there’s more space and everything.

“I’m getting ready for Tati. That’s my mission today to put everything together. Well… I’m going to try. Let’s do this!”

After taking their bundle of joy home from the hospital last week, Blake got to meet her little sister for the first time.

And Arthur made sure to capture the special moment on camera to “cherish forever”.

Arthur posted the heart-melting clip on Instagram and captioned his post: “When Blake met her baby sister Blu for the very first time.

“Happy one-week-old Blu.”

At the beginning of the video, Blake was shy as she buried her head into Arthur’s shoulder and shook her head when asked if she wanted to see Blu.

However, her mood quickly changed when she saw the little tot in front of her as Brian took her hand to touch her baby sister’s nose.

Blake looked adorable as she burst out laughing and cuddled into her daddy.
