Arthur Gourounlian house hunting in Dublin ahead of welcoming second baby
Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian are buzzing with excitement yet feeling “more chilled out” as they gear up to welcome their second child this summer.
The dynamic duo, who tied the knot back in 2015, are on the cusp of becoming dads for the second time in just a few short weeks. The pair first experienced the joys of fatherhood with the arrival of their daughter Blake in September 2022.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ judge Arthur has spilled the beans on the couple’s hectic summer plans, which include embracing their new bundle of joy and embarking on a house-hunting adventure in Dublin. Despite the packed schedule, Arthur insists that this time around, the pressure isn’t quite as intense, reports RSVP Live.

Arthur shared: “Brian and I are getting ready for a busy, busy summer. We’re very excited, obviously, over baby number two, but more chill, totally.”
He continued, explaining the difference this time around: “Like, the first time, we were running around the shops, buying this and that; for the second one, we’re kind of neglecting [them], but it’s not [like that], because we have everything. We’ve already done it, so it’s like, ‘We’re ready’. But then, when are you really ready? ”
Having recently moved from Brian’s hometown in Kildare to a rental property in Dublin, Brian and Arthur are now on the hunt to buy their own place in the city and have kicked off their search.
For globetrotter Arthur, who has lived in various corners of the globe after leaving war-stricken Armenia as a youngster, the next move will be his 37th house change. Despite his nomadic past, he dreams of settling down.
Arthur opened up about his hopes for the future: “Ideally we want to buy, settle down, own a home, but again I don’t know if this is going to be my last home,” as he confided in Magazine+.
“Where I’m coming from, I’d never say ‘forever home’, because in life you never know what could happen. So that’s why I’m actually good and okay with moving and packing. Brian wold be like, ‘Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God,’ I’m like, ‘Don’t sweat, it’s fine, no matter what we need to move’.”
“I’m a control freak – I love organising everything. Obviously Brian was working – he goes early morning, comes back late at night – so I did everything on my own: found the house, packed everything, moved everything, unpacked.”
“It’s like a therapy, I know you’re going to laugh, it’s like cleansing everything, starting fresh.”
Six O’Clock Show host Brian moved back home to Ireland with Arthur in 2020 after living in Los Angeles for a number of years. Aside from missing the good weather, Arthur loves life here.
He continued: “I feel like I’ve been here for 25 years; I don’t know how to describe the feeling, it’s been incredible, I love Ireland. Irish people literally welcomed me with open arms, and I am so privileged and so honoured to be part of Irish society.”
