We need to mention that he played against John Nadal, and not Rafael Nadal. After that, Jubb won against Monteiro in two easy sets. In the first round, Jubb defeated Marterer in two easy sets. It was another great performance from the young Brit.

Adam Walton has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Halle, Walton lost against Hanfmann in the first qualifying round. Here in Mallorca, Walton also fought through the qualifying tournament. He won both of his qualifying matches in straight sets. Today, Walton had a rematch against Yannick Hanfmann. This time, Walton was the better player on the court, and won the match in straight sets easily.

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Jubb is a way more experienced grass court player than Walton. His first round performance against Marterer was outstanding, so he will definitely be confident tomorrow.
