Big jobs boost for Tipperary coming down the track in 2024

The Clonmel-based engineering company Skanstec Group has been acquired by Limerick-based and Tipperary-owned business H&MV Engineering.

Skanstec is a specialist engineering company delivering key infrastructural projects in the Energy & Telecommunication Sectors. With operations in various locations across Europe, the Skanstec Team has a strong reputation for successfully delivering fast-track, mission-critical projects to exceptionally high standards.

Established by Declan Wynne in back in 2021, it recorded profits of €1.7 million and revenue of €20 million in 2022 and the news means they will  roll out 400 jobs across three sites this year, with one of those sites being the Skanstec Group located in Questum in Clonmel.
