Bill Belichick has a problem with new girlfriend Jordon Hudson: No one thinks it’s a serious relationship

Bill Belichick‘s recently-revealed relationship with former college cheerleader Jordon Hudson has shocked some of those around him. But an insider close to the former New England Patriots head coach does not believe that the couple will be in it for the long haul.

In June, it was confirmed that Belichick, 72, has been dating Hudson, 24, for more than a year. The pair were spotted together on a number of occasions, sparking rumors of their romance, and finally decided to go public with their romance.

However, their relationship has not received the widespread approval they perhaps expected due to their 48-year age gap.

The source, who has not been named, reportedly told PEOPLE Magazine that they don’t “see it as a serious, long-term thing.”

“Jordon is bright and ambitious and pretty well organized,” the source said. “It’s easy to see that Bill could become infatuated with her. She is young and attractive and interesting.

“I don’t know what she wants from him but they seem to be enjoying each other and like doing many of the same things.”

A year of change for Bill Belichick

Belichick has experienced a seismic change in his personal and professional life over the past year. In January, he “mutually agreed” to leave the Patriots after an iconic 23-year spell as their head coach after their failure to make the playoffs.

It comes after the former New England Patriots coach and his long-time partner, Linda Holliday, called it quits after 16 years together last September.

A source close to Belichick claimed

“If I had the options with attractive young women that Bill has, who knows what would happen,” the source says. “All I can say is we like Linda and thought they were a great couple. They were good together.

“It was surprising to us and to others when they actually spit up. But there was something else on the horizon for him. When you are as well known as Bill and constantly exposed to temptations, then the door is open for problems.”
