Bryson DeChambeau baffled after awkward Greg Norman stunt at LIV Golf Nashville
Bryson DeChambeau was left baffled while standing on the 15th tee as Greg Norman stormed the green to tend the pin during the second round of LIV Golf Nashville.
DeChambeau, 30, won his second career major with a narrow one-shot victory over Rory McIlroy at the US Open at Pinehurst No.2 last weekend.
Knowing full well that DeChambeau was in the form of his life right now, LIV Golf CEO Norman stepped inside the ropes on the par-3 15th while the American was contemplating his club selection alongside caddie Greg Bodine.
Norman walked onto the green and tended the flag while putting his right arm out.
“Someone is tending the flag!” said on-course commentator Dom Boulet, before soon realising it was Norman.
A confused DeChambeau put his hand in the air as if to say ‘WTF is going on here?’
But the LIV Golf star eventually saw the funny side of it once realising it was Norman.
DeChambeau sent his approach shot into 10 feet but would go on to miss the putt.
It marked the second awkward clip of Norman and DeChambeau at LIV Golf Nashville.

DeChambeau went on to card a round of 66.
He trails England’s Tyrrell Hatton by four shots.
Hatton, who is seeking a first individual LIV Golf title, fired a flawless 64 to vault to 13-under par.
John Catlin is three shots back in second.
