TO borrow a phrase from a children’s TV show which was hugely popular around the time when the development was built – one of the houses in Bromley Court in Midleton is not like the others.

Similar in style to the other 16 detached houses, No 1 Bromley Court is different because its gardens are larger and have higher walls and because it has significantly more living space, having been built with a single storey section at the side and a spacious en suite bedroom on the attic floor “The builder of the development held on to the largest site for himself and built a larger house than the others,’’ explains the current owner who bought the property 18 years ago.
