Burglary investigation underway at Greenwood Village shopping center

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a reported burglary at a business in the Arapahoe Marketplace Shopping Center.

Greenwood Village tweeted at 7:50 a.m. that Greenwood Village Police Department officers were working on an active investigation in the Arapahoe Marketplace Shopping Center. The shopping area is off Arapahoe Road near Interstate 25.

FOX31 reached out to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office who said they were investigating a burglary at Torchy’s Tacos.

One person was taken into custody, but there could still be more people inside the business, the sheriff’s office said.

Drones and K-9 units are on scene along with several law enforcement officers.

At around 8:50 a.m., Greenwood Village said the incident concluded safely and police are clearing the scene.
