Community Safety Awareness Day to be held in Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre

A Community Safety Awareness Day will take place this month at the Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre.

On Tuesday, June 25, from 10am to 1pm, the awareness event will be held in the main square of the centre.

It has been organised by Cathkin and Springhall Neighbourhood Watch volunteer Barry Cathie, who will be amongst representatives from South Lanarkshire Council, Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

The topics of concern include battling against doorstep scammers, fraud, anti-social behaviour, and fire safety.
