Cork City FC set to hit the golf fairways over the summer

Cork City FC is set to tee off in the first of a series of golf events planned to take place across the summer.

The four ball event is one of a number of corporate golf days organised by the club as it aims to build on connections with the business community.

The first of the golf days will take place in Cork Golf Club on July 1.

The local business community is invited to take part with morning and afternoon tee times available.

Cork City FC will also swing into action at the K-Club in Kildare on July 22 with morning tee times available.

The esteemed course previously hosted world class players for the Ryder Cup and for the 2023 Irish Open, with golf enthusiasts given the chance to walk in their footsteps.

Cork City FC Commercial Director Anthony O’Sullivan said: “Golf days are a great networking opportunity in a relaxed environment out on the course.

“We have a strong support base from the business community in Cork and we wanted to host a number of corporate events to build on those relationships and further enhance them.

“With a number of golf days planned for the summer, anyone who wants to take part in any of the corporate days can contact me directly.”

Players will be treated to a barbecue when they finish their round along with goody bags, a selection of prizes and competitions for the longest drive and nearest to the hole.

As part of the series of planned golf events, the annual Golf Classic will take place at the Lee Valley Golf Club on September 19.
