Cork v Clare hurling final to be shown on big screens at Páirc Uí Chaoimh
A family-friendly viewing of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship final will take place at Cork’s SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh next Sunday.
Due to an “unprecedented level” of demand for tickets for the Cork v Clare match at Croke Park, the Rebel’s Fanzone will see the hurling final shown on big screens at the Páirc.
Tickets for the event, organised by Cork GAA and Cork City Council, will be free of charge and available from Tuesday, July 16 onwards.
Under-16s will be required to be accompanied by an adult and the event will be alcohol-free.
A Rebel’s Return event will also take place on Monday at the Páirc with more details to be made available later in the week.
Chairperson of Cork GAA, Pat Horgan said the event will “allow supporters of all ages an opportunity to come together and support an incredible team on an incredible journey.”
“With demand for final tickets at an unprecedented level, unfortunately not everyone will be able to attend Croke Park next Sunday,” he said.
Tickets for the Rebels’ fanzone will be available on the Cork GAA website or on the Cork City Council website.
