Cricket round-up: Emmbrook and Bearwood go top with Binfield win

Thames Valley Division 4A

EMMBROOK AND BEARWOOD maintained their winning streak by taking an away victory at BINFIELD by six wickets.

Binfield batted first and racked up a first innings score of 114 before they were all out.

Tom Williams top scored for Binfield with 39, while Rahul Soni and Yuvraj Deshpande both collected three wickets for the Bears.

Emmbrook managed to get over the line to surpass the target after 24.4 overs with six wickets to spare.

Alex Cobb scored highest for Emmbrook with 32 while Davis and Deshpande saw the Bears to victory.

Thames Valley Division 1

EVERSLEY dropped down to ninth in the standings after they lost out by eight wickets against Marlow.

READING kept their spot in third after they earned a massive away win at Henley 2s.

Praful Waghela scored 59 runs to help Reading to success.

Home Counties Division 1

WARGRAVE earned a huge home victory over Banbury which kept them in seventh.

Wargrave hit an outstanding first innings total of 337 which saw Euan Woods (126) and Dan Lincoln (128) both put in superb batting displays.

A five wicket haul from Tommy Sturgess helped to have Banbury all out on 89 as Wargrave earned a 248-run win.

WOKINGHAM fell down to the bottom of the table following their away loss at High Wycombe.

Samarjeet Singh picked up three wickets for the Oaks as Wycombe put 248 on the board before Wokingham were then bowled all out for 157.

FINCHAMPSTEAD are in fifth position following their two-wicket defeat to Datchet.

BCMB Championship

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD 2s remain in second spot despite losing out by 88 runs to BRACKNELL UNITED 2s.

SHINFIELD were beaten on their away trip to Knotty Green by three wickets.

WEST READING were defeated by five wickets on their away visit to Braywood.
