Culture Club to launch 2024 arena tour in Dublin
Eighties icons Boy George and Culture Club have announced a major UK and Ireland arena tour this December – kicking it off with a gig Dublin’s 3Arena.
The band will be celebrating their first two albums, Kissing to Be Clever and Colour by Numbers. They’ll be supported by special guests Tony Hadley and Heaven 17 and play Dublin’s 3Arena on December 3.
Tickets go on sale Friday June 14 at 9.30am from Ticketmaster.
Culminating at London’s The O2, the band will perform their landmark albums in their entirety. Fans can expect to hear all the classic hits, including Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Karma Chameleon, Time (Clock of the Heart), Church of the Poison Mind, as well as more recent releases.
Kissing to Be Clever propelled the band to international stardom in 1982. This Grammy-nominated album established their signature sound. It was followed a year later by Colour by Numbers.
This critically acclaimed album, which garnered multiple awards and sold over 10 million copies worldwide, featured the band’s biggest hit to date, Karma Chameleon.
Boy George says: “I am calling this The Zero Arguments Tour because we are performing our first two albums Kissing To Be Clever and Colour By Numbers exactly as they were made and in exact order.
“I love the idea of this because some of these songs are fan favourites and have never been performed. I think it will be really special for the fans.”
