DART and train lines in Dublin suspended due to ‘tragic incident’ at station
All DART and train lines between Raheny and Connolly Station were suspended on Wednesday morning due to a “tragic incident” at Killester railway station.
Just after 6:30am, Irish Rail announced that services were shut along the lines between the two stations while emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident.
A shuttle service was placed in operation between Howth and Howth Junction to help commuters get to their destinations, with Dublin Bus accepting rail tickets for anyone who was caught in the disruption.

Those planning travel in the capital on Wednesday were urged to be aware that any impact to service was expected to continue throughout morning peak.
A statement from Irish Rail confirmed the incident: “All DART and Commuter services suspended between Raheny and Dublin Connolly due to a tragic incident, emergency services attending.
“Dublin Bus accepting rail tickets, disruption expected to continue throughout morning peak.”
Gardaí also confirmed that an incident at Killester railway station caused services to be suspended on Wednesday, adding that no more information was available.
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident at Killester railway station, County Dublin, this morning Wednesday, 19 June.
“Train services are disrupted in the area; further details can be sought from Iarnród Éireann. No further information is available at this time.”
DART services between Raheny and Dublin Connolly were cleared to resume shortly before 9am.
