Deals: iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max prices drop

Did you hear? Only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are getting the new Apple Intelligence features. These two have more RAM (8GB) and a faster NPU (35 TOPS) than any iPhone before. Will the vanilla iPhone 16 and 16 Plus get Intelligence? That’s unclear. Anyway, if you’re interested in Apple’s privacy-conscious take on AI, Amazon is selling the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max with hefty discounts compared to Apple – apple.com is asking €1,200 for the 128GB iPhone 15 Pro.

The Nothing Phone (3) isn’t coming this year, CEO Carl Pei confirmed. It looks like the company is focusing on the CMF Phone 1 for now. So, we’ll have a look at the Nothing Phone (2) instead. This launched in mid-2023 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and some features that still keep it competitive.

The phone has an LTPO display, a 6.7” 120Hz 10-bit panel with FHD+ resolution, and 15W wireless charging (wired is 45W), things that some mid-rangers skip. There’s also the 50MP main (1/1.56”) and 50MP ultra wide cameras, plus a 32MP selfie. And, of course, the unique Glyph lights at the back.

The Poco M6 is a 4G mid-ranger with some stand-out features. The 108MP camera on the back (1/1.67” sensor, no OIS), for one, but also the large 6.79” IPS LCD (90Hz, FHD+). The phone is powered by the Helio G91 Ultra and a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The 8/256GB version offers extra RAM and storage for just €20 more than the 6/128GB version, so that would be our pick. The phone does have a microSD slot, though, so adding more storage is easy (there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack too).

It looks like Amazon has some OnePlus 10 Pro units left over and is selling the 8/128GB model for €375. It’s no spring chicken (it was announced in January 2022), but the 48MP main, 8MP 77mm tele and 50MP ultra wide cameras, plus the 6.7” QHD+ LTPO OLED display are better than what you would get from a current mid-ranger.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has its issues, but OnePlus gave it plenty of cooling and sustained performance is impressive. The update situation is the biggest worry and the next one – Android 15 – is likely to be its last. However, it should continue receiving security patches into 2026.

We recently reviewed the Sennheiser Accentum Plus and walked away impressed – the headphones are on the cheaper side of Sennheiser’s offerings, but perform better than their price might suggest. We particularly liked the Sound Personalization feature, which was much better than a simple equalizer. These headphones are not very comfortable and you practically have to make an account to get the best out of them.

There is a cheaper version dubbed Sennheiser Accentum. This one uses physical buttons instead of touch controls and a more basic noise cancellation system (the Plus model has adaptive ANC). The Plus should deliver better audio quality too, though not by much. Finally, Sennheiser removed the 2.5mm wired port from the vanilla Accentum and dropped the carrying case from the retail package.

The Xiaomi Watch S3 is not a Wear OS device, but the reduced functionality comes with extended battery life – official numbers claim up to 15 days with normal use and up to 5 days if you enable AOD. In our review we got around 4.5 days with AOD on. The customizable bezel and replaceable wrist straps let you customize the look of the Watch S3 to a great extent.
