Designer Guinness jumpers appear on runway at Milan fashion week

Irish designer JW Anderson has debuted a new collection with Guinness at Milan Fashion Week.

Originally from Magherafelt in Co Derry, the designer has been making waves in the fashion world since he launched his brand in 2008. For their Spring/Summer 2025 sleep-inspired showcase at Milan Fashion Week, Anderson debuted a new line in collaboration with Ireland’s most notable export.

The collection includes two pieces – a pearled crewneck and a hand-knit cashmere sweater, both featuring Guinness’ vintage graphics.

In a statement, Anderson wrote: “I’ve always been obsessed with Guinness and their brand. I think they are still today one of the greatest advertisers and I liked the idea of using their amazing graphics.

“I’ve always wanted to be able to show some of it because in fashion we think we are so radical but actually, they were way before all of that.”

The jumpers feature traditional Guinness logos from years gone by

Those hoping to get their hands on one of the pieces in the collection will have to wait until November. The pieces are likely to come with a hefty price tag, as some of the other sweaters listed on the JW Anderson website range up to $1,350.
