Dogs, divas and TV disasters: 7 bombshells about David and Victoria from The House of Beckham
A new book from investigative biographer Tom Bower claims to lift the lid on one of showbiz’s most enduring and lucrative couplings
As an investigative biographer/author of considerable power, Tom Bower has previously turned his attention to Prince Charles, Simon Cowell, Tony Blair and Meghan Markle. Now, it’s the turn of Victoria and David Beckham.
Bower’s 27th book, The House Of Beckham, claims to lift the lid on what many consider to be one of the most enduring marriages in the world of celebrity. In the book, Bower argues that the illusion of a happy and united marriage is just that, and only exists in service to Brand Beckham, the multi-billion-dollar global empire that David and Victoria have created. With the couple seemingly terrified of becoming irrelevant (and less wealthy), he believes the pair have made it their life’s mission to attract and upkeep constant public interest.
