Anyone who follows my Instagram page will know that I am a supporter of co-sleeping because for some children, it maximises their sense of security and gives them the best environment to sleep soundly. Even if you don’t plan to co-sleep, lots of children come to their parents’ room (or bed) for comfort and security during the night, even if they start off in their own room.
For most families, these occasional nocturnal visits are fine. However, if you don’t want to have your child in your room, or in your bed, and they keep coming in, then it can be an issue.
