A Drumcondra burrito joint has won the title of Best Mexican Establishment in Ireland.
Already one of Dublin’s top Mexican food haunts, Mr Burrito on Drumcondra Road Upper were awarded the crown at a stellar ceremony in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Established in 2017, Mr Burrito was the first Mexican Burrito restaurant on the north side of the city, on the ground floor of Dublin’s burrito craze.
They also serve churros, quesadillas, huevos rancheros, mini burritos, smoothies, milkshakes, and chimichangas. “When you put seven years into your business, one hundred per cent dedication, this is what you deserve. We are overwhelmed with excitement.
“We are now planning to deliver our quality Mexican food at various different locations in the near future. We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support throughout our journey.”
The Food Awards are in their seventh year of highlighting Ireland’s top culinary destinations and recognises outstanding restaurants, cafes, producers, and operators in the sector. The event is organised by Creative Oceanic, with winners chosen by a public vote.
