Dublin restaurant welcomes Hollywood royalty and top singers on busy weekend

A top Dublin restaurant welcomed four big celebs through thier doors this weekend.

Hollywood star Paul Rudd, singers Brandon Flowers and Fran Healy, and filmmaker Tim Burton all visited Trocadero restaurant on St Andrew’s Street over the weekend. Rudd is in Dublin filming his new musical comedy ‘Power Ballad,’ directed by John Carney, in Ireland.




John, best known for his Oscar-winning films Once and Sing Street, co-wrote the comedy with Peter McDonald. The film follows the story of a wedding singer (Paul), a rock star (Nick Jonas), and the song that comes between them.

Nick, who rose to fame as a member of The Jonas Brothers before transitioning into acting, was recently seen in Ireland before the Avengers star’s arrival. Trocadero staff were delighted to see the stars dining in their establishment as they posted pictures on Instagram. The caption read: “What a weekend for Celebraties!!

“We had the pleasure of the actor, Paul Rudd, Brandon Flowers from The Killers, Fran Healy from Travis and the amazing filmmaker, Tim Burton was also in, but managed to escape our camera!”
