Dublin store sold winning €1million jackpot ticket in 3rd big win of the year

Party scenes were underway at a north Dublin store after it was revealed they sold the winning €1 million Lotto ticket.

This is the third big win for Nan’s Centra at the Ballymun Civic Plaza on Shangan Road after previously selling winning tickets worth €75,000 and €15,000 on All Cash Platinum and Cashword Doubler Scratch Cards. The Dublin winner of Sunday’s Daily Million top prize winning ticket worth €1 million has made contact with National Lottery.

Mick Murphy, who runs the store alongside Manager Chris Vavasour, said: “We were absolutely thrilled for both of those wins but now we’ve gone even bigger again for our third big win of the year. This is the largest prize that we have ever sold so it’s huge news for us here in the shop but of course for the winner themselves, they are now officially a millionaire.

“I imagine the win made waking up on Monday morning a lot easier than normal! We wish the winner all the health and happiness with the good fortune. I’d say as soon as the news spreads, we’ll be even busier than normal as it’s great news for the community.”

Meanwhile, tonight’s EuroMillions jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €175 million.
