Emergency services are attending a “tragic incident” on a Dublin rail line.

As a result, all DART and commuter services have been suspended between Raheny and Dublin Connolly this morning.

Irish Rail informed commuters that Dublin Bus is accepting rail tickets, with “disruption expected to continue” throughout the morning peak.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident at Killester railway station, County Dublin, this morning Wednesday, 19th June 2024.

“Train services are disrupted in the area; further details can be sought from Iarnród Éireann.

“No further information is available at this time.”
