DUNGARVAN Pride, Ireland’spioneering LGBTQ+ festival, is set to return for its third year on June 15th, 2024, at 3.00 p.m, at Walton Park.

Making history as the first small town in Ireland to host its own Pride festival in 2022, Dungarvan is ready for another spectacular celebration of love, diversity, and inclusion.

With an exciting line-up, Dungarvan Pride promises a day filled with joy, entertainment, and community spirit.

The festival will be hosted by renowned and hilarious drag queen Lady Fifi Fondue and the evercharismatic Phil T Gorgeous who will provide dazzling performances and non-stop fun on the main stage.

Attendees can look forward to interactive shows with the sensational Sing Along Social, a crowd favourite known for their electrifying gigs across Ireland and at Electric Picnic.

Additionally, Wobbly Circus and Kirby School of Performing Arts will return for their third year, delighting audiences with their talents and creativity. There will also be food stalls, free face painting, lip sync battles, a dog show with The Dog Lady, music with Changing Channels and DJ Gav plus much more.

Dungarvan Pride is a free and family friendly event, and is more than just a celebration – it’s a community effort. The main sponsors are Waterford City and County Council and Haleon. In addition to this, local businesses have contributed greatly to the festival and have shown their support for the LGBTQ+ community by becoming ‘Pals of Pride.’ Keep an
eye out for the special window sticker proudly displayed on shop fronts showing their commitment to diversity and inclusion and supporting the facilitation of Dungarvan Pride.

“We are thrilled to bring Dungarvan Pride back for its third year and continue our tradition of spreading love and acceptance,” said Emilene Stafford, Dungarvan Pride committee member. “While the day is about celebrating LGBTQ+ people, it is a day for everyone to come together, regardless of age, gender, or orientation, and show their support for equality.”

Preparations are in full swing and organisers encourage everyone to stay tuned to their social media channels for all up to date information in the lead up to the big
day.
