Eamonn Holmes, 64, grows close to divorcee, 42, after split from wife Ruth
THE divorcee who has grown close to Eamonn Holmes after his marriage split has visited him at his new home on the last two weekends.
Relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 42, has been on numerous outings with the presenter in the last 12 months.
The mother of three has now been seen visiting Eamonn, 64, at his rented apartment in South West London from her home in Yorkshire.
Katie was spotted driving to and from his luxury flat on Friday.
The news comes after The Sun on Sunday previously told how Eamonn was being comforted by a mystery marriage counsellor.
Former This Morning host Eamonn moved out of his marital home in Surrey last month after wife Ruth Langsford found messages between him and another mystery woman on a laptop.
Last week, a snap emerged of Eamonn at a safari park in February, with a blonde woman visible through the vehicle’s rear window.
Katie met Eamonn on X/Twitter in 2015 after she commented on a post and it sparked a conversation.
Last October he attended a charity fundraising event in Yorkshire — close to Katie’s home — and became a patron.
The counsellor has worked for the charity as a therapist.
Eamonn posted snaps online from the event.
He has also treated Katie to a Beyonce concert, a visit to Center Parcs and tickets for a Manchester United game — while Katie has been seen in his native Belfast.
We exclusively told in May how Eamonn and Ruth split after 14 years of marriage and are to divorce.
Cracks had started to appear in their relationship and they had not been photographed together for two years.
Loose Women panellist Ruth has helped Eamonn through a health crisis.
He had a double hip replacement in 2016, and back surgery last year left him using a wheelchair.
On Friday he was pictured using a walking frame.
Since their split, Ruth, 64, has confided to her friends that there is “no way back” for the marriage.
She and Eamonn first met in 1997 and were married in 2010. Their son Jack was born in 2002.
