Sometimes a minute changes the course of a season. Sometimes it sums up what a team is all about. Sometimes they don’t even need a full minute.

72 minutes 18 seconds: Ryan O’Donoghue points a free to put Mayo one up with less than a minute left. It feels like a winner. Mayo fans are exultant. This famous victory will put a large spanner in Dublin’s works. They will finish second in the group, go into the preliminary quarter-finals, lose their top seeding and perhaps come up against Kerry having played three weeks in a row. No one saw this coming.
