Edinburgh officers scramble to capital shopping centre over reports of dog fight
Edinburgh officers responded to a dog attack at the Newkirkgate shopping centre in Leith this afternoon.
The disturbance which is believed to have involved a larger dog biting a smaller pug-like breed took place on Monday, June 3, at around 1.15pm.
Police say that there were no reports of anyone being injured during the altercation.

Officers added that both owners of the dogs were traced and advice was given to each of them.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.15pm on Monday, 3 June, 2024 officers were made aware a dog had bitten another dog in the Newkirkgate area of Edinburgh.
