In a statement, the company says the site needs significant renovation so has instead decided to close the branch.
Minister for Enterprise Peter Burke says he doesn’t expect other companies to follow suit
“Any job loss is concerning, most importantly for people and their families, you know, they are real people so we as a State would support them in any way we can. But I will also point out that we have a very strong economy, we have a country where there is huge opportunity right now in the employment market over 2.7 million people employed with a growing economy that continues to grow and continues to provide more opportunity”
