Belgium | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
Slovakia | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 0 |

Group E: All four teams in this group – Romania, Belgium, Slovakia and Ukraine – are on three points making it tantalisingly poised. Romania and Belgium have a +1 goal difference, Slovakia have 0 goal difference and Ukraine are on -2.
Last set of fixtures: Ukraine vs Belgium, Slovakia vs Romania.
Romania will progress, as the top two teams, if they avoid losing to Slovakia. However, if Romania lose and Ukraine does not, Romania will not advance.
Belgium will reach the Round of 16, in the top two, if they avoid losing to Ukraine. Conversely, if Belgium lose and Romania does not, Belgium will be eliminated.
Slovakia will advance, at least as a best third-placed team, if they avoid losing to Romania. Slovakia will not go forward and will drop to fourth in the group if they lose and Belgium does not.
Ukraine will secure a place in the Round of 16, as the top two, if they beat Belgium. Alternatively, they can advance as a best third-placed team if they draw and the other game is not a draw. Ukraine will not reach the round of 16 and will be in fourth place if they lose and Slovakia does not lose, or if both games end in a draw.
If both games end in a draw, resulting in all four teams finishing with four points, the following scenarios apply:
A) If both draws have the same scoreline, or if Belgium vs. Ukraine has fewer goals than Slovakia vs. Romania, the group ranking will be based on goal difference and goals scored:
1. Romania
2. Belgium
3. Slovakia
4. Ukraine
B) If the two draws have different scorelines, the scenarios are:
If Belgium vs. Ukraine ends 1-1 and Slovakia vs. Romania ends 0-0, or in any case where Belgium scores exactly one more goal than Romania in their draw, Belgium and Romania will occupy the first two positions. They will be equal on goal difference and goals scored. According to article 20.01d of the competition regulations, the head-to-head criteria will be applied to these two teams, putting Belgium ahead of Romania as they won their direct match. Slovakia will be third and Ukraine fourth based on goal difference.
In other scenarios, Romania and Belgium will be the top two in the group, separated by goals scored. Belgium will top the group if they score two or more goals more than Romania in their draw. Romania will top the group if they score more goals than Belgium in their draw. Slovakia will finish ahead of Ukraine in third place based on goal difference.
