Everything you need to know about Thomand Park concerts
Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and Liam Gallagher are set to take to the stage at Thomand Park next week – find out everything you need to know about the upcoming gigs here.
Snow Patrol will perform at the Limerick stadium on 12 July with support from Kingfisher and Pillow Queens, Paolo Nutini will play on 13 July with support from CMAT and Brògeal, while Liam Gallagher will take to the stage on 14 July with support from The Mary Wallopers.
For all three concerts the gates will open at 5pm and the show will start at 6pm. No early queuing or camping is permitted. If ticket holders turn up early they will be turned away.
THINGS TO KNOW
Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs/stools permitted in the venue.
Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ ponchos and suncream but remember no umbrellas.
There are a number of entry points to the stadium. You must enter through whichever gate is detailed on your ticket.
Show your ticket at the ticket check outside the stadium grounds for inspection.
Strict security checks will be in operation.
Patron are advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry.
Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, flags/ banners larger than A3, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted.
Don’t rush to exits after the concerts.
TRANSPORT:
Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance, allowing 2 hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are strongly encouraged to walk, use public transport and private coach services.
BY TRAIN: Irish Rail provide links to Limerick City (Colbert station) from all over the country. Train times and information can be found at www.irishrail.ie.
BY BUS: From Bus Station and Train Station: Routes 302, 303 and 306 operated by Bus Éireann.
BY CAR: There is limited concert car parking available. This MUST be booked in advance. You can book concert car parking through Evntz app. Do not park illegally – 24hr towing will be in operation.
TICKET INFO/ROUTES:
There will be two entrances to the concert site.
RED/GREEN (East Stand, Gold Circle, Pitch, Premium): Entrance off Knockalisheen Road.
BLUE (West Stand): Entrance on Cratloe Road.
AGE RESTRICTIONS:
Under 16’s MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent/guardian over 25. Strict age monitoring in place. Unaccompanied under 16’s will be refused entry without refund. Recommended no under 5’s.
Standing tickets only available to persons aged 14 and over. No under 16’s will be allowed on the pitch.
TICKET COLLECTIONS:
The Ticketmaster box office will be located at the junction of Cratloe Road and Knockalisheen Road.
