Famous American actress spotted at Clare’s chocolate factory

Julianna Margulies, who starred in a number of series including ER and The Good Wife, paid a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolate’s factory in Bellharbour.

Owners Kasha and John Connolly shared the incredible visit on social media, where they described the day as “magical” and “exciting”.

After seeing how cacao turns into chocolate, the New York actress left the Clare factory with a signed copy of Kasha’s cookbook.

The post on Hazel Mountain Chocolate Instagram page reads: “What a magical day at our factory! The amazing Julianna Margulies visited us to experience the journey of cacao beans transforming into chocolate. She was captivated by the process, the flavour and, to top it off, took home a signed copy of Kasha’s cookbook! What a sweet exciting day, we are still pinching ourselves!”

Born in New York in 1966, Julianna Margulies is best known for her role as Carol Hathaway in the NBC medical drama series ER, and her role as Alicia Florrick in the CBS legal drama series The Good Wife, for which she has won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

Julianna Margulies has also starred in several films, including Ghost Ship, Evelyn, and Snakes on a Plane.
