Fashion experts say M&S’ £45 holiday dress suits almost every figure

The strappy dress is made in a comfortable regular fit from cotton fabric, which is a popular summer choice known for its lightweight feel and ability to keep wearers cool. Meanwhile, the shirred bodice offers a good amount of stretch, which not only makes it super comfortable, but perfect for women with larger busts, too.

But what sets the M&S piece apart from similar styles on the market is its sequin embellishments which beautifully catch the sunlight and give it a more elevated feel. Our colleagues at BirminghamLive have tipped the ensemble as the ‘ideal holiday dress’.

Their shopping experts added: “It’s versatile, which means it could be worn to dinner in the evening, or out on a day trip. The sequins give it that little bit of sparkle, yet it’s also casual enough to wear day to day. It could even be worn season to season teamed with boots and a chunky cardigan.

We think this dress would suit a variety of figures.” The dress comes in one colour, black, and sizes 6-24, however, the only downside is that unlike a number of other M&S dresses, it doesn’t come in long or short versions, meaning taller or petite shoppers may struggle with the length.

For the summer months, this dress is ideal for teaming with these new Leather Patent Footbed Sliders, some oversized sunglasses and a raffia bag, while in winter, it could be styled with a knitted jumper and boots to give the illusion of a skirt.
