From bright coloured dresses, to sparkling shorts and silk skirts – M&S has got it all.

And one item in particular is getting many shoppers excited, with them pointing out that it “goes with just about everything.”

The Satin Midaxi Wrap Skirt, which costs £39.50 comes in an off-white colour and fits perfectly with “near enough anything.”

Describing the skirt, the M&S website reads: “This satin wrap skirt is a sophisticated piece for your wardrobe.

“Versatile midaxi length with a flattering high waist.

“A back zip fastening ensures a neat look, while the lining adds comfort.”

Many shoppers rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One explained how the skirt was elegant, whilst adding: “Lovely, elegant satin look skirt. Looks designer – way more expensive than it is.

I work at M&S and shoppers are going wild for new cocktails – including a blood orange margarita perfect for summer

“Can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and of course, the neutral shade goes with just about everything. Only minor criticism is that it marks easily.”

Another said how the skirt was simply “perfect.”

They added: “Great style love high waistband, comfortable fit, true to size. Work day and night, smart or casual.”

Others complimented the for it’s “great quality” and that it is a “fantastic tailored wrap over.”

They continued: “Very well made skirt in a good quality material which has some weight but is very soft on the skin.

“The skirt has a good cut and sits well on the hips, not pulling the wrap over out of line. I’ve had several compliments.”

Reasons to shop supermarket fashion

When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there’s no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg…

They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.

It’s affordable – For basics  to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.

They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.

They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.

Whilst another added: “Lovely skirt. Fits well and the fabric is amazing. Looks so good and can be worn with any colour.

“Highly recommend so more please from M&S.”

And it’s not just their clothes shoppers are going wild for, but their drinks section too.

One woman, who worked by the Stockport store, claimed shoppers can’t get enough of their new flavoured cocktails.

There’s the new Marksologist range, which is a slightly more “premium” drink with 14% alcohol.

Salted Caramel Espresso Martini, Pink Grapefruit Paloma, Rosé Spritz Negroni and Smoked Pineapple Daiquiri are all on shelves right now.

These drinks are perfect for Summer BBQs and picnics.
