FORMER Kinahan cartel assassination target Michael “Nine Lives” Frazer is back in Dublin, the Irish Sun can reveal.

He has survived four attempts on his life and last cheated death in 2017.

Michael Fraser has been the target of multiple murder attempts

That was when he was targeted by hitmen Gary Gleeson and Stephen Dunne.

Before their attempt to kill him, the pair were secretly recorded saying: “Head shots or we don’t get paid.” They were jailed in 2018.

After the attempt on his life, Frazer spent time in Turkey and also in the UK.

When he returned to Ireland, he often spent time sleeping in his van.

But due to the Gardai’s successes against the Kinahan cartel hit teams — who were on the rampage during the feud — he has decided to remain in Dublin.

He was targeted in 2017 by caged killer Fat Freddie Thompson after they were involved in a personal row.

One local told us: “Michael Frazer is seen out and about all the time and he’s just keeping a low profile.

“A lot of the senior Kinahan figures are in prison and they just don’t have the same strength anymore. Michael has a good support network around him and isn’t associating with his former crowd.

James Mago Gately is back, despite being targeted by contract killers twice that year.

And key targets Patsy Hutch and son Patrick have been leading normal lives recently.

Gerry “The Monk” Hutch has also been enjoying walks in the city after he was cleared of the murder of David Byrne.
