GAA All-Ireland SFC 2024 quarter-finals: Armagh vs Roscommon followed by Dublin vs Galway

Well hands up who saw that coming?

If you have your hand up, I don’t believe you!

Outgoing champions Dublin have lost an All-Ireland quarter-final for the first time since 2009, but Galway really went out and earned that victory in the second half.

What a second half by Galway, it looked like everything was stacked against them but with every second-half point that went over, their confidence grew.

Most teams don’t play with that level of conviction against Dublin, and Galway have just proved what can happen if you have the belief.

A 0-17 to 0-16 win over Dublin, allied to Armagh’s 2-12 to 0-12 win over Roscommon earlier, sees them both advance into the All-Ireland semi-finals.

Tomorrow we will see who joins them in the last four when Donegal take on Louth and Derry play Kerry.

Those games will have to go some to top the drama and excitement of that second half but please do join us to find out!
