GAA confirms details for All-Ireland football quarter-finals
The Dublin-Galway All-Ireland quarter-final will take place on Saturday evening while Kerry-Derry will anchor Sunday’s double header at Croke Park.
The Armagh-Roscommon quarter-final will be the curtain raiser at GAA headquarters on Saturday and will throw in at 4pm before the All-Ireland champions put their title on the line for the first time this year against Padraic Joyce’s side at 6.15pm.
On Sunday, Donegal-Louth will get underway at 1.15pm, with Louth afforded the extra day having been the only one of the quarter-finalists to be in action on Sunday last, with Kerry-Derry throwing in at 3.15pm.

Both of Saturday’s games will be live on GAAGO, which is sure to raise the hackles of those who are critical of the subscription service broadcasting blue chip fixtures, though all of the remaining games in the Championship, both hurling and football, will be live on RTE, including Sunday’s double-header.
Dublin and Galway last met in the Championship in the 2018 All-Ireland semi-final as Dublin scored a comfortable 1-24 to 2-12 win en route to their fourth successive title.
Kerry and Derry met in last year’s All-Ireland semi-final in what was arguably the game of the Championship as Jack O’Connor’s side came from behind for a two-point win.
Roscommon and Armagh last met in 2018, when the Rossies, who are bidding to reach their first All-Ireland semi-final since 1991, scored a six-point win in a qualifier tie in Portlaoise.
It will be the first ever Championship meeting of Donegal and Louth.
