Galway’s newest pub and restaurant set to open with top menu promised

A Galway town is set to welcome Ireland’s newest pub and restaurant with the owners promising a wide and varied menu for hungry and thirsty customers.

The Wool Store will be located on The Square in Tuam and is set to open up its doors this Friday, July 12, the owners excitedly revealed in the business’s first Instagram post.




Hungry customers can look forward to perusing the evening menu from 4pm to 8pm this Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the menu will be available from 12pm to 8pm.

With opening just a day away, the owners have said that they will be launching a breakfast and lunch menu in the coming days. If you’d like a table, then you’ll need to message the business on their Instagram account.

In the Instagram post, they said: “Welcome to the Woolstore. The newly refurbished bar and restaurant is opening this Friday, July 12. Friday and Saturday evening menus available from 4pm – 8pm and Sunday 12pm to 8pm. Breakfast and lunch menus available in the coming days. To reserve a table message through Instagram.”

the Wool Store is not the only new restaurant that will be opening shortly in Galway. The folks behind the Ahascragh distillery are bringing a unique restaurant offering to Ahascragh village with the grand opening taking place today.
