Gardaí investigating theft at Mahon Bridge car park | WLRFM.com

Gardaí are appealing for information following a theft from a car at a popular Waterford beauty spot.

On Saturday afternoon between the hours of 4:15 p:m – 4:35 p:m, a car was broken into at the Mahon Bridge Car Park.

The passenger side window of a 201 WX Grey Insignia was smashed to gain entry, and a black leather bag was stolen.

This follows a spate of thefts from car parks in the Comeragh area in recent years, particularly during the summer period.

Gardaí are advising the public to secure their belongings, and not to have them on display in public areas.
