Gemma Collins and her Rami Hawash announce news of family loss
Gemma Collins‘ fiancé Rami Hawash has been left heartbroken following the death of his father.
The businessman, 49, who got engaged to TOWIE legend Gemma, 43, earlier this yea, took to social media on Saturday to announce his father had passed away.
Alongside a picture of the pair, he wrote: ‘I have no words you was the BEST DAD in the world.
‘TODAY HEAVEN GAINED THE BEST ANGEL #restinpeace’.
Rami did not reveal exactly what had happened to his beloved dad, but he was inundated with support from his followers.
Gemma, seemingly referring to Miranda Hart’s eponymous sitcom, wrote: ‘Lovely man Ram. I never forget how he loved to watch Mirander.’ (sic)
The former Diva Forever star is known for her friendship with X Factor twins Jedward, and the boys were also quick to offer their support.
They wrote: ‘Rest in Peace [heart emoji] sending strength and love.’
Gemma’s mother Joan Collins – who recently endured a stint in intensive care – also sent her condolences
She wrote: ‘God Bless The Family Sending Love To You All’
And Denise Van Outen‘s former boyfriend Eddie Boxshall – who appeared with the West End star on Celebrity Gogglebox – said he was ‘thinking’ of the whole family.
He said: ‘Love and strength to you and the family my friend . Thinking of you.’
Just days ago, Gemma sweetly said how it was ‘meant to be’ that she and Rami came back to each other after first meeting in 2011 – after he married and had a child with someone else.
Speaking during a candid interview on the new Everything I Know About Me podcast, Gemma said: ‘It was all meant to be. He rang me up out of the blue, and he went ‘Gemma Madonna’s in concert’.
‘I thought that’s a bit strong. I haven’t seen you for years. He’d gone and got married and I had a baby in that time. I mean, 10 years is a long time. So I didn’t ask too many questions.
‘And I was just like, ‘Oh, are you single RAM’ he’s like ‘yeah, yeah, Me and my partner, you know, are in the process of separating’. So I was like, well, I’ll meet up as a friend with you didn’t anything of it…’.
