Glen Dimplex to invest €15million in Louth but jobs cuts planned for later in 2024

Glen Dimplex has announced plans to invest over €15m in its operations at Dunleer, Co Louth with plans to move from its existing two sites at Barn Road and Ardee Road to a new multi-purpose facility at Ardee Road within the next two years,
This will include the relocation of its fast-growing sales and distribution arm, Glen Dimplex Ireland (GDI) from Cloghran in Dublin to Dunleer, to a proposed new facility which, subject to planning permission, will incorporate Glen GDI and its associated warehousing and distribution activities, a state-of-the-art showroom, a new R&D facility and ventilation manufacturing.
