Goldwin’s Summer 2024 Re-Optimum Line Prioritizes Performance Recovery

Japanese alpine performance brand Goldwin has dropped off the latest addition to its Re-Optimum line, a sub-label dedicated to keeping the body in great condition with functional designs that support recovery.

The line utilizes KODENSHI fiber, a body-conditioning performance material that Goldwin developed in collaboration with Professor Shimizu Norinaga M.D., of Osaka Prefecture University, who has researched “environmental adaptation and sleep in the field of health” for more than 30 years.

At launch in November, the brand described Re-Optimum’s main goal as “keeping the temperature close to body temperature.” The label added, “Even a mere one-degree drop in body temperature can lead to a significant 37% decrease in our immune system’s effectiveness. When our body temperature decreases, achieving a state of deep rest and recovery becomes challenging.”

The latest batch of Re-Optimum goods includes lightweight long-sleeves, breathable T-shirts and long trousers with a drawstring waist. Built for the summer, the range arrives in a similar neutral palette to its predecessor, with deep charcoal, ink navy and white colorways available. Notably, each silhouette employs cotton on the exterior and KODENSHI on the interior.

Goldwin’s Summer 2024 Re-Optimum collection is available to shop on the brand’s webstore. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
