Golf: The women’s players who are confirmed in the Olympic ranking berths – Race to Paris 2024 final standings
Defending Olympic champion Nelly Korda of the USA goes into Paris 2024 as world number one, with American countrywoman Lilia Vu ranked just behind in second. Republic of Korea’s Ko Jin-young has made it up to third at the best time possible, while Yin Ruoning of People’s Republic of China follows in fourth.
Amy Yang of Republic of Korea, the reigning champion of the 2024 women’s PGA Championship, will enter the competition as the world number five, followed by the highest ranked European golfer in Celine Boutier of France. Hannah Green, the Australian winner of the 2019 women’s PGA Championship, follows in seventh.
The top 10 is rounded off by Great Britain’s Charley Hull, Rose Zhang of the USA, and Saso Yuka of Japan. Two-time Olympic medallist Lydia Ko, who last took bronze for New Zealand at Tokyo 2020 held in 2021, has qualified ranked 16th.
