Harrington goes ‘next level Padraig’ as he takes golf tips into bathroom
Padraig Harrington has taken his golf tips into the bathroom in what has been described as “next level Padraig”.
The three-time major champion is one of the game’s great thinkers and tinkerers, a characteristic that shows through in his ever-popular golf tips.
Harrington, 52, started PaddysGolfTips during the lockdowns enforced by the Covid-19 pandemic. But such was the popularity of the videos that Harrington has continued to make them alongside his playing career.

Harrington often debunks popular myths about the golf swing, but his unconventional teaching methods hit new heights over the Bank Holiday weekend.
In his latest video, posted on social media, Harrington takes to the bathroom to explain “ground force reactions”.
The Dubliner uses a bath towel to try to show how the legs should move in the golf swing to create more power.
Harrington has made over 50 instructional videos since setting up his YouTube channel and has close to 150,000 subscribers.
And the Dubliner does it all while still competing on both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour.
“I’ve always liked coaching, I actually like playing pro-ams and giving a few tips out there,” he said of his channel. “I think I should be able to get every golfer in the whole wide world to a single figure handicap. I think that’s a very reasonable goal.
“It’s hard to be a scratch golfer, but to get to 9, it’s not that hard. When I say it’s not that hard, there’s some simple things you can do to get there and that’s what my videos are mainly focused on.
“I’m really just trying to help the weekend warrior get to a level where if you’re a single figure golfer, you can walk into any clubhouse with your chest expanded. It’s a level of achievement. That’s what I’m focused on.”
