A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed that version 2.3 will bring a group chat feature. Honkai: Star Rail has recently introduced a new social feature in version 2.2, which allows players to see their friends’ in-game status. It keeps a record of Trailblazers’ recently completed activities and displays them on their public profile. Players who don’t want their status to be seen can turn this feature off in the settings.


Since its launch, Honkai: Star Rail has introduced many quality-of-life features that improve the overall enjoyment of its player base. For example, the game has brought the Clearance Lineup feature in version 2.2, which allows Trailblazers to check friends’ lineups for gameplay modes like Forgotten Hall and Pure Fiction. In previous versions, Honkai: Star Rail has also implemented several tools to make it easier to manage inventory.

If the leak is accurate, group chat will be available in Honkai: Star Rail‘s version 2.3.



Honkai: Star Rail Will Allegedly Bring A Group Chat Feature

Although details about the upcoming group chat are scarce, Honkai: Star Rail players on Reddit discussed the point of this feature, claiming it’s useless when there’s no co-op content in the game. Some speculated that it might be a social feature for a co-op gameplay mode HoYoverse plans to release in a future update.

Over the past few days, leaks about Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 have emerged online, with one indicating that the next update will bring a new character selector. According to beta leaks, this selector will become available after finishing an event and promote four characters: Hanya, Gallagher, Arlan, and Luka. Honkai: Star Rail players will add these unique characters to their rosters by completing challenges within the upcoming event.


In addition to the character selector and group chat feature, Honkai: Star Rail will introduce two new units in version 2.3, Jade and Firefly, that players will acquire with Special Rail Passes. Firefly will make her debut in the first phase of the update, and Jade will appear in the second phase. Some characters like Argenti and Ruan Mei will also receive their rerun banners in version 2.3.
