I’m a fashion writer and these are my top picks for swimwear at Primark
Primark is hoping shoppers up and down the country will love its swimwear collection, which offers a variety of styles and something to suit every customer. From beautifully coloured bikinis to more modest swimsuits and even a variety of cover-ups, Primark has pulled out all the stops when it comes to its summer swimwear range.
As someone who has lived by the beach for many years, I often treated myself to new bikinis, at least once a year. So when it comes to picking something stylish yet comfortable, I like to think I can find some brilliant options.
While not normally a Primark shopper myself, I do find its swimwear section quite good with some brilliant variety. I took a scroll through the website to see what might be on offer, and what I would pick out.
The first item that caught my eye was the Cutout Detail Bikini Set costing £9 and coming in two colours, a beautiful brown and a stunning khaki green. While the bottom of the bikini set are your standard tie style, the top has a slight difference. Made in a ribbed fabric, the top features thin shoulder straps and a stylish v-cutout detail in the centre that I absolutely love, which adds a modern but still classy look to it.
Next up is the Monochrome Crochet Tie Bikini which will cost shoppers £14 and is the perfect option for those who love a bit of black and white. The bikini is the classic triangle shape that customers have been loving and wearing for years. Featuring ties on both the top and bottoms, I love how this is a classic style but has been taken and given a little extra something to it.
For those still wanting to wear a bikini this summer but prefer something a little more covered then the High Apex Bikini set for £9 may take your fancy. The bottoms come up slightly higher given a high waist effect and the cups on the bra offer a little more support and coverage too. This is the perfect mix of modest and stylish.
Or if you really don’t like bikinis and much prefer a swimsuit then Primark has some brilliant options including the Ring Front Halter Swimsuit, costing £12. Coming in two colours this swimsuit doesn’t have that aged or overly sporty feel to it. I love a halterneck design and the way this incorporates a little ring detail as well is brilliant.
Finally, everyone needs some kind of coverup and the Sheer Beach Shirt from Primark could be the perfect option. Coming in three colours, orange, white and a bright green, the top costs £8 and would look amazing over a bikini on the beach. I love that the shirt has a sheer effect so isn’t too bulky when the sun is on you.
